Honor company held a presentation of the Honor 70 series smartphones in China. the line included three smartphones with three different chipsets, a new camera sensor from Sony and fast 100-watt charging.

Honor 70 — starting model in the line. At 178g and 7.91mm thick, it is the thinnest and lightest smartphone in the family. The novelty is equipped with a flagship 6.67-inch OLED display with curved side edges and support for a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The smartphone is equipped with three main cameras — A 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50MP ultra wide-angle module, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front panel in a cutout.

Honor 70 works on Snapdragon 778G+ platform. The novelty comes in  modifications with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of permanent memory.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4800 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a capacity of 66W.


The Honor 70 starts at 2,700 yuan.

The Honor 70 Pro and 70 Pro+ received a slightly larger 6.78-inch display with similar specifications to the younger version. However, the main difference — The edges of the screen are curved on all four sides.

All smartphones use identical lines of 54 MP and 50 MP main and ultra wide-angle sensors. However, as the third module in the Honor 70 Pro and 70 Pro +, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and optical stabilization is installed. The front camera is also upgraded to 50MP.

Honor 70 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset, while the 70 Pro+ features the flagship Dimensity 9000 chip. W, respectively.

Honor 70 series smartphones come with pre-installed version of Android 12 and branded Magic UI 6.1 shell.

The cost of Honor 70 Pro and 70 Pro+ in  China will be from 3.7 and 4.3 thousand yuan, respectively.
