HMD Fusion – new a smartphone that can be personalized

The company HMD (Human Mobile Devices), which until recently produced Nokia smartphones, has started sales of its new smartphone HMD Fusion, which debuted very recently at the IFA 2024 exhibition in Berlin.

The smartphone is promoted as modular and customizable, but the company has not yet released add-on modules for it. HMD Fusion is already available in Europe. The company put the phone on sale in Germany, France, Spain, Finland, Italy and Ireland.

The smartphone is offered in two versions – with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in flash memory for 270 euros and 8 GB/256 GB for 300 euros.

Among the main characteristics of HMD Fusion – 6.56-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, 50 MP front camera and 108 MP main camera, SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, Android 14 OS.

Additional modules are attached to the back panel of the smartphone using a special connector. HMD will start selling the first modules in the fourth quarter of 2024. Among them, modules capable of adding ring lighting, a game controller, support for wireless charging, etc. are expected.
