Vigilance is required this Thursday between the center and the east of the country. Twelve new departments have been placed on heatwave orange vigilance this Thursday afternoon, in addition to the seven placed on alert this Thursday morning. The departments concerned by orange vigilance are as follows: Loire, Haute-Loire, Ain, Isère, Rhône, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Allier, Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme, Doubs, Jura, Saône-et-Loire, Corrèze, Gers, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn and Tarn- et-Garonne.

12 other departments have gone into heat wave yellow vigilance:  Ariège, Dordogne, Landes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Nèvre, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Haute-Saône, Territoire de Belfort and Cher.

Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne has also decided, in the face of the heat wave, to activate an interministerial crisis unit which will be held on Thursday in Paris. 5 p.m., said Matignon àgrave; AFP.

Until’à 37 degrees on the Lyonnais
