He searched for positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the guise of "trips to the dacha": Kharkiv resident suspected of treason

According to law enforcement, the man spied on the units of the Defense Forces fighting for Vovchansk.

The suspect — A 21-year-old resident of Kharkiv, the Security Service of Ukraine reported.

According to the investigation, the Russian special service noticed the man in Telegram channels, where he expressed support for the war and a desire to go to his relatives in Russia.

«He tried to find the combat positions of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which keeps the assault groups of the invaders under fire control. He did this under the guise of trips to the dacha near the front line», — the SBU noted.

At the same time — searched for traces of tanks and wheeled armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense locations.

After completing the tasks, the occupiers promised to take the man to Russia. 

He was detained «red» — during reconnaissance near Kharkiv.

The Kharkiv resident was declared a suspect under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
