He passed on data on the locations of Ukrainian defenders to the FSB: a medical worker will be tried in the Odessa region

Prosecutors of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court against a medical worker of one of the healthcare facilities in the Odessa region on the fact of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This was reported by the prosecutor's office.

The accused, on his own initiative, assisted the Russian special services in carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine. As a reward for his «services» the enemy agent counted on a leading position in the occupation administration in the event of the capture of the region.

The man «surrendered» to the aggressor the location of the personnel of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard of Ukraine and the Coast Guard in the territory of the Izmail district.

Another of his tasks was to monitor the dynamics of ships entering the local port and the types of cargo they are transporting.

The occupiers used this data to prepare new and adjust repeated strikes on the Danube region of the Odessa region.

He transmitted specific data on the locations of the personnel of the Ukrainian defenders, military infrastructure facilities with the location of buildings and geographical coordinates to an employee of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation using one of the messengers.

Law enforcement officers detained the agent in August 2024 year. During the search, a mobile phone with evidence of criminal activity was seized.

He is currently in custody at the request of the prosecution.
