The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal, considering Google’s appeal against the decision of the court of first instance on the claim of “Constantinople”, granted the Internet company’s motion and postponed the consideration of the case for “peaceful settlement of the dispute”, Art de Lex managing partner Dmitry Magonya, representing the interests of the owner, told Vedomosti TV channel. The next meeting is scheduled for August 16. A copy of the petition is at the disposal of Vedomosti, Magonya confirmed its authenticity.
The dispute can be ended peacefully, the course of negotiations gives grounds to assume such a development of events, the petition says. Google points out that representatives of the parties need time to formulate positions on all controversial issues and “come to an enforceable agreement.”
