UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Lviv to meet with the presidents Ukraine and Turkey.

“António Guterres has arrived in Lviv, where he will meet tomorrow with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” the UN spokesman said in a statement.

As previously reported, during a meeting with Zelensky, Guterres will discuss the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as well as the search for a political solution to end the war with Russia.

The UN said they could help the visit of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA ) to Zaporozhye from Kyiv, but Russia insists that any mission that passes through the capital of Ukraine is too dangerous.

On Saturday, Guterres will visit the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul for the export of Ukrainian grain and fertilizers through the Black Sea. It consists of representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN.
