For today, Monday, November 7, the intervention of the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, at COP 27, in Egypt, was scheduled. Prior to his intervention, which was delayed due to a series of technical failures reported by the UN logistics team, the president of the national territory spoke to the press about what he would do today before leaders from around the world. The president is in Egypt with the Colombian Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development and Álvaro Leyva Durán, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Peace, and other members of his cabinet.

“The central problem of the climate crisis is that it can extinguish humanity, if so, there is no other way out than to end the consumption of oil, coal and hydrocarbons”, he commented before the press.
