GUR hackers "greeted" Russians with the New Year: resources of the oil company "Lukoil" were attacked

As a result of the cyberattack, the company suffered certain losses.

Over the past three days – from December 30 to January 1 – Cyber ​​specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the resources of the Russian oil company Lukoil, which is involved in supplying the occupation forces.

“Ukrinform” reports this with reference to an informed source in intelligence.

According to the journalists' interlocutor, as a result of the cyber attack, Lukoil customers experienced significant inconvenience because they could not pay for fuel at gas stations in the mobile application, which caused the company to suffer certain losses during the holiday period.

The GUR hackers also attacked the digital resources of Evotor smart terminals, in particular the mobile application, cash payment system, website, personal user account and a unified system of digital marking of goods “Chestny znak”.
