MOSCOW (Reuters) – Sberbank maintains its forecast for its ecosystem profit at 70 billion rubles in 2020, state bank president German Gref said in an interview with Kommersant newspaper.
“Now the ecosystem includes about 50 companies, of which about three dozen are key and some are already profitable. In 2019, our non-financial digital companies earned more than 35 billion rubles in revenue, and in 2020, despite the crisis, we plan to earn more than 70 billion rubles in part of the share of Sberbank (MCX: SBER) “, – he said.
The previous forecast of income of companies included in the Sberbank ecosystem was given by top management in early December 2019 at the analyst's bottom. Then it was 66 billion rubles.
In addition, Gref confirmed plans to further expand the ecosystem.
“We will buy and we will create partnerships. But now I am not ready to talk about specific cases,” he said.
Earlier this week, the state-owned bank completed the purchase of Zvooq from the Irish Music Technologies Limited. The parties did not disclose the amount of the transaction.
