Beyoncé became the first female artist in history to earn 80 Grammy nominations

The tracks “Easy On Me” by Adele, “Break My Soul” by Beyoncé and “As It Was” by Harry Styles, among others, have been nominated in the Best Record of the Year category for the 65th installment of the Grammy Awards, which will take place on February 5 in Los Angeles.

In addition, Beyoncé (“Renaissance”), Adele (“30″), Bad Bunny (“A Summer Without You”) and Harry Styles (“Harry´s House”), among others, will compete in the a Best Album of the Year category.

Beyoncé leads with nine nominations, < b>Kendrick Lamar follows closely with eight, and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven. Four contenders enter the race with six nominations each: Future, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled and Randy Merrill.

Latin music did not have the expected presence in the general categories. Bad Bunny was nominated for what many consider the top award, Album of the Year, for his hit “A Summer Without You”. The musician only earned two total nominations. It was also thought that Rosalíait could fit into one of the main categories, but it didn't, as it got only one nomination. Anitta will compete for Best New Artist.

Beyoncé's nine nominations put her in a dead heat in the all-time Grammy nominations with her husband, Jay-Z.
