The Ford government changed health measures for each color code of its intervention framework for CoViD-19 in order to prepare the possible return of the different regions to the famous gray, red, orange, yellow and green areas.
The province has announced that the stay-at-home order will be lifted effective Wednesday for the health regions of Hastings and Prince Edward, Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, as well as Renfrew County. These three regions will be back in the green zone.
“We can see rays of sunlight through the clouds,” Doug Ford noted during his press conference on Monday. “We can’t go back to normal, but we can begin our transition to ending the province-wide lockdown.”

Glad to see covid cases decrease, the Premier remains concerned about infections with new variants of the virus, which are mounting in Ontario.
However, the stay at home order remains in effect for the rest of Ontario, and will be in effect until February 16, except for the regions of Ontario. Toronto, Peel and York, where it will end on February 22.
