Google has signed an agreement with Kairos Power to supply electricity from small nuclear reactors to meet the growing needs of its data centers related to the development of artificial intelligence intelligence This is written by Science Alert.
Under the terms of the agreement, the first small modular reactor (SMR) Kairos is planned to be launched by the end of the decade. By 2035, the company will deploy several such reactors with a total capacity of 500 megawatts. SMRs are compact and flexible, making them easy to design and install.
