The new Pixel 9a is still six months away, but the hype is already crazy online. Leaks are constantly appearing, and it seems we already know almost everything about this smartphone. The latest insider tips are especially cool – they reveal the specifications in such detail that you can already get a clear idea of what Google will surprise us with. And, to be honest, I believe it, because devices of this level are not invented at the last moment. They are almost ready.
As for the characteristics, everything is serious here. Pixel 9a promises to be almost like a flagship, only cheaper. Imagine: the brand-new Tensor G4, the same as the top-of-the-line Pixel 9. This is already an application that Google wants to erase the difference between the middle and premium classes. Added to that is 8 gigs of RAM, a choice between 128 and 256 GB of storage, and a Titan M2 for security. Well, cool?
Another thing that struck me — seven-year update support. This is practically a record among Android! Yes, the Pixel 9a will launch with Android 15, not 16, but who cares when there's such a long support cycle?

By the way, the design has also become more interesting: instead of the branded camera unit, there is now a flat body, and it looks super modern. The cameras are also impressive: 48-megapixel main and 13-megapixel wide. And the 13MP front camera promises great selfies. And a 5100 mAh battery! There is also support for wired charging at 23 W and wireless charging at 7.5 W. And IP68 protection — this is a straight fat plus.
