Google is about to launch a new operating system called LaCrOs. It is designed to solve the problem of updating the built-in Chrome browser that plagues many users.

The basis of the new operating system will be the same Chrome OS, but it will receive an important distinctive feature: the Chrome browser and the OS itself will become independent units, as provided by the versions for Windows and MacOS. This means that users will be able to update the browser bypassing the entire operating system update.
All devices running Chrome OS have a support period, after which OS updates are no longer available for them, and, therefore, new versions of the browser are also unavailable. The corresponding information is displayed on the screen. Now it will be possible to update Chrome even on gadgets that have ended support.
Previously, experts found that the uniqueness of browser history is not inferior to biometric data.
