Google has resumed sales of the Chromecast TV set-top box

The Google company has resumed the sale of TV - Chromecast set-top boxes

Google has returned Chromecast to the Google Store, placing it alongside the new Google TV Streamer.

Previously, Chromecast was "removed" after the debut of the Google TV Streamer model, the “Streaming” section; in the Google Store was dedicated exclusively to the new device.

The update includes a comparison chart that highlights key differences. Google TV Streamer features Dolby Atmos, a new voice-controlled remote with customizable buttons and Find My Remote, 32GB of RAM versus Chromecast's 8GB, Ethernet and Thread support.

Despite that Google is no longer releasing new 4K or HD Chromecasts, they will continue to sell existing models and release updates.
