Every month on the first Monday, Google releases updates to the Android operating system that powers the company's smartphones. In the October package, the auto-rotate of the screen worked better, and a bug was fixed, due to which smartphones “hung” during loading and missed calls were not displayed. For some owners of these gadgets, the disappearance of the auto-rotate icon was fixed, and after one time a swipe gesture was recognized when using the main menu.

Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL received the latest OS update as part of three years of gadget support. It is worth noting that the Pixel 4a system has made a couple of fixes designed specifically for this model of smartphones from Google. So the work of the system for adjusting the brightness of the screen in automatic mode was improved and the sensitivity of the display to touches was increased if a protective film was glued to the screen.

It is worth emphasizing that in different countries of the world, updates are carried out in stages.
