American documentary “All Beauty and Bloodshed” (2022) received the “Golden Lion” award as the best film at the Venice Film Festival. Director – Laura Poitras. This is what the website of the festival.

Laura Poitras is known for her film Citizenfour: The Truth of Snowden, which won an Oscar in 2015 as the best documentary.

Poitras' new film “All Beauty and Bloodshed” dedicated to New York-based photographer and activist Nan Goldin.
