On October 20, the Globe Soccer Awards revealed their nominees for the 2022 edition of the award that will be given to the best male and female soccer players for what has been done in the current year. However, for Linda, this nomination does not represent the only one she has under her name in terms of recognized awards. In recent hours, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS)nominated the Colombian for the award of the best player of 2022, recognition of which the current Ballon d'Or, Alexia Putellas is still the owner. Caicedo along with Debinha are the only South Americans who are part of the list.

Apart from their nomination on the main list, Linda is also present in the shortlist for the award for the best under-20 footballer, one of her main rivals who will compete alongside her is the Spanish midfielder Vicky López, who was one of the most outstanding players in the last Under-17 World Cup, where the Colombian team fell in the final against the Iberians, with López on the pitch.
