Germany summons Russian ambassador over expulsion of two German journalists from Russia

The Russian ambassador to Germany was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with Moscow's decision to expel two German journalists.

As reported by AFP, “European Truth” writes, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Burbok, stated this.

At a press conference on Thursday, November 28, Berbok called Russia's move unacceptable. “Today we summoned the ambassador”, – she noted.

Russia announced the expulsion of two journalists from the German media group ARD after Russian propagandists from the First Channel complained about the German authorities' order to leave the country.

“Pervy Kanal” has been under EU sanctions since December 2022, which prohibit its broadcasting and rebroadcasting, but not the work of its “journalists” in the European Union.
