 Germany handed over Gepard installations and refrigerators to Ukraine

Last week, Germany donated four more Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery mounts and 65 refrigerators for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the press service of the German government website reports.

Ukraine has 24 Gepard installations. Six more units are being prepared to be sent to Ukraine.

The Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns can fire 35 mm projectiles at a speed of up to 1000 rounds per minute and in real conditions it fires in short bursts adapted to the target. The manufacturer of the units had previously conducted exercises for the Ukrainian military in Germany.

Germany also sent 65 refrigerators for medical supplies. Earlier, only 2 refrigerators were delivered to Ukraine.

It should be reminded that earlier Germany transferred four more Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery mounts to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukraine began to receive the first Gepard mounts at the end of July. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also received several thousand ammunition for them.
