German scientists are developing the world's first portable quantum computer, which could have a significant impact on the defense industry and other high-tech areas. Quantum Brilliance, ParityQC, Oxford Ionics and NeQxt GmbH have joined forces to create the latest quantum technology with significant benefits.
Quantum Brilliance develops miniature quantum chips, that work at room temperature, using nitrogen-vacancy centers in artificial diamonds as qubits. This reduces costs and allows integration with traditional semiconductors.

In turn, Oxford Ionics applies electronic qubit control technology, which makes their MinIon quantum computer suitable for modern semiconductor manufacturing. NeQxt GmbH develops the MaQue system, which will allow the use of quantum computing in defense tasks, in particular for the analysis of combat scenarios and simulation of biological threats in real time.
According to researchers , the latest technology can be applied not only in defense, but also in finance, supply chain management and scientific research, opening up new opportunities for quantum computing in various fields.
