Georgia hopes for a reset in relations with the US

The leader of the country's pro-European political forces, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, who is in confrontation with the ruling Georgian Dream, in her congratulations emphasized Georgia's European future and expressed hope for continued US support on a number of issues of crucial importance for Georgia's statehood.

A strong US is our 33-year-old strategic partner and friend.” “We need these measures now more than ever to support Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration, strengthen regional security and stability, and protect our freedom and independence,” the Georgian president wrote on the social network “X,” Voice of America reports.
