Division General Leonel Benigno Cabrera Pino is recognized as the new head of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces (CCFFAA), during a ceremony presided over by the Defense Minister, Pedro Cateriano.

The ceremony takes place in the Plaza Cáceres of the Army Headquarters, where the highest authorities of the military institutions are located.

Cabrera Pino replaces Admiral José Cueto Aservi, who was relieved of his post, according to a supreme resolution published this Friday in the official newspaper El Peruano.

In said device, his forty years of service are recognized and thanks are given for the important services rendered to the Nation.
