Geiner Alvarado was sworn in this Friday, August 5, as the new Minister of Transport and Communications ( MTC), in a ceremony that took place in the Golden Room of the Government Palace, with the presence of President Pedro Castillo and the head of the PCM, Aníbal Torres.
In this way, Alvarado left the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, a position he assumed when the administration of President Pedro Castillo began, on July 28, 2021.
Geiner Alvarado is a civil engineer by profession. He has specialized studies in administration and public management, quality engineering, management of investment projects, among others related to closing social gaps through development projects.
Similarly, Alvarado López He has held management positions at local and regional government levels, which has allowed him to learn about the reality of Peru.
According to his resume, “his experience in managerial positions demonstrates his leadership capacity to develop high-impact policies according to the needs of each population”.
