MOSCOW (Reuters) – Gazprom's (MCX: GAZP) exports to non-CIS countries in August 2020 exceeded 16.3 billion cubic meters, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“We can now say with absolute certainty that in 2020 Gazprom will supply the Far Abroad with a volume of gas that will be included in the top five indicators in the entire history of supply,” Miller said.
At the end of August, representatives of Gazprom said during a conference call that they were expecting a recovery in the global gas market in the second half of the year, and the current recovery in it made it possible to slightly improve the export forecast for 2020 – to 170 billion cubic meters from 166-167 billion cubic meters.
