Galaxy Unpacked: release date of Samsung's new products and what is already known about them

The first presentation of Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is just around the corner, and most people are already guessing what Samsung is going to present at this event. The main one, obviously, will be the long-awaited Galaxy S25 series, but that's not all that Samsung is announcing this day.

About what Samsung can show at the presentation and how you can follow the live broadcast, RBC-Ukraine (Styler project) tells with reference to the online publication Android Authority, which represents the world of Android and technology.

How to watch the live broadcast of Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025

Samsung will hold its first Galaxy Unpacked 2025 presentation in San Jose on January 22. The event and live stream will begin at 1:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Kyiv Time).

The company will live stream Galaxy Unpacked on Samsung.com, in the Samsung News section, and on the Samsung channel on YouTube.

What can be presented at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025?

Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra

Samsung is likely to open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on the same day as Unpacked 2025. Shipments to those who pre-order should begin sometime in early February.

The new flagships are expected to feature improved aesthetics and subtle design changes. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are likely to retain their flat profile, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature more pronounced curves. The phones are expected to be available in multiple color options, some of which could be exclusive.

The entire Galaxy S25 series is predicted to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, despite initial rumors of Exynos variants.

Photo lovers can expect various camera improvements, mainly due to processor upgrades and new AI features. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom.

They say that the Galaxy The S25 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 10MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom and 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS for 5x optical zoom.

All three models can be equipped with bright Dynamic AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Galaxy S25 series will introduced with One UI 7, Samsung's latest user interface built on top of Android 15.

Leaks also suggest that Gemini will play a much more important role in the Galaxy S25 series. Users can expect the interaction with the AI assistant to become more fluid and natural.

Additionally, everyone expects to see a slew of new AI-powered features to improve productivity, accessibility, and photography. Some of these new features may even be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series at launch.

One UI 7 Release and Availability Details

The Galaxy S25 series will be released with a stable version One UI 7. Samsung's Android 15-based software has already gone through several stages of beta testing, but users have been waiting a long time to get their hands on the stable version.

We also hope that the company will publish an update schedule for older Galaxy flagships. It is likely that Galaxy S24 users who participated in the One UI 7 beta will receive the stable version shortly after Unpacked, possibly even on the same day.

Previous rumors suggested that Samsung would update most of its latest flagship phones to One UI 7 by the end of February.

Galaxy Ring 2 and Project Moohan XR glasses

Samsung is 99.9 percent unlikely to unveil the next Galaxy Ring or its new Project Moohan augmented reality glasses at Unpacked 2025. But that doesn't stop the company from giving us all a sneak peek at the upcoming devices.

The company is expected to unveil a few surprises at the end of the show, related to both the Galaxy Ring 2 and the Project Moohan glasses. After all, this is a great opportunity for Samsung to create excitement and heat up interest.

Galaxy S25 Slim

Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim have appeared quite recently, showing it ultra-slim design. Although leaks about this new phone are increasingly appearing, Samsung may not introduce it at Unpacked. It is assumed that the company will save the launch of the Galaxy S25 Slim for later this year.

Again, we may see a teaser at Unpacked 2025, but a full-fledged announcement should only be expected in the coming months, perhaps in late spring or early summer 2025.
