On the New York Mercantile Exchange, WTI crude oil futures for November delivery is trading at $ 40.48 a barrel, up 0.42% as of this writing.
The maximum of the session was the mark of USD per barrel. At the time of writing, WTI found support at $ 38.66 and resistance at $ 41.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures, which measures the US dollar against a basket of six major currencies, was up 0.01% to trade at $ 94.388.
In terms of other commodities traded on ICE, Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.33% to $ 42.08 a barrel, and the difference in price between the Brent and WTI contracts was 1.60 dollars per barrel.
