Linz – Saturday, February 13th, 2021, 11:18 a.m.
The LASK stadium project has caused quite a stir in the past few days.
The reason for this was a leaked letter dated February 4, in which Manfred Zauner reacted to allegations against himself before the shareholders’ meeting of LASK Marketing GmbH (which took place on February 5). Zauner goes on the offensive and attacks above all LASK President Siegmund Gruber and puts a cost explosion of the current stadium project in the room.
Gruber reacts and denies (REPORT >>>>>).
According to “sportsbusiness.at” research, LASK is losing more friends
As an exclusive sportsbusiness.at research has shown, not only two, but four friends of the Linz Bundesliga club were kicked out at the shareholders’ meeting of LASK Marketing GmbH on February 5th.
The shares of Flattec Vertriebs GmbH and Molto Luce GmbH (both previously with five percent each in LASK Marketing GmbH) were “called”. Thomas Kern, Managing Director of Flattec Vertriebs GmbH, confirms the research in an interview with sportsbusiness.at and says: “
The shareholders’ meeting was a little strange. All those who spoke out against Zauner were not at the meeting on February 5th , but have been represented with a power of attorney. “
