Already in July 2022, the fuel situation in Ukraine may stabilize, and gas stations may lift restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel. This statement was made by the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy Andriy Geros, reports today.ua.
He noted that in June 600,000 fuel was imported to Ukraine, which is 50% more than in May. Of these, 400,000 tons are diesel fuel, and 200,000 tons are gasoline and autogas.
Geros believes that an increase in supplies may lead to the fact that already in July this year the situation with fuel will stabilize, and filling station networks will begin to cancel limits on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel. Unless, of course, some force majeure occurs.
Chapter The parliamentary committee urged Ukrainians to use cars only when it is really necessary.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that in Ukraine, for the first time in 3 months, wholesale prices for diesel fuel have become less than retail prices. This happened after agrarians and enterprises formed mainly stocks of the fuel they need for harvesting. Experts believe that thanks to this, more fuel will reach Ukrainian gas stations.
