I was the youngest of three sisters.

From real life. "My sister didn't want to share the inheritance": She suddenly remembered me when she heard about my earnings in Italy

The oldest, Katarzyna, died tragically many years ago after breaking up with her boyfriend. It devastated our mother and we tried to comfort her. Natalia, the middle sister, was determined and persistent in pursuing her goal. I always felt hidden in their shadow.

At the age of 19, Natalia married a simple farm worker who was known for his drinking. They soon had three sons. As for me, I decided not to marry at a young age and continued my studies instead.

My world collapsed when Natalia called me to tell me about our mother's sudden death. When I returned home for the funeral, I discovered that our deceased mother had left Natalia her entire fortune. I was surprised.

My pleas for justice were met with indifference from my sister. Undeterred by my past, I returned to school, found a job, and met Witold. But when I got pregnant, he left me. My close friend Tola took me in. She became godmother to my son Norbert. Times were hard and Tola and I finally decided to emigrate to Italy in search of a better life.

Years passed, we worked hard, and the situation improved significantly. Tola married a wealthy Italian, and Witold grew into a strong and intelligent boy. Communication with Natalia was rare and tense, but a few years ago she suddenly started calling more often. She told me about her difficulties and suggested that she needed help.

I sympathized with her, sent her gifts and money, but then my sister started demanding more. Witold was against my kindness: he knew about our past. Nevertheless, this summer I decided to return to Poland with my son to show him his roots. Natalia took the opportunity to ask for more help, this time with a bathroom renovation. I was disappointed that she only cared about money. I work hard to earn a living and I can't forget the time she spat on me.
