Already from next year, the company will use OLED displays for all iPhone models and completely abandon liquid crystal displays, as reports the Japanese newspaper Nikkei. This will lead to termination of cooperation with Japanese companies Sharp Corp and Japan Display. They supplied 70% of iPhone displays about a decade ago, but recently only produced liquid crystal displays for the iPhone SE.

It is also reported that Apple has started placing orders for OLED displays for the upcoming iPhone SE model. from the Chinese company BOE Technology and LG Display from South Korea.
