French fashion designer Paco Rabann died

B Friday, February 3, the French fashion designer, the founder of his own haute couture house Paco Rabanne, Paco Rabanne, died. This reports Le Monde.

The legendary banker passed away at the age of 88. 


Paco Raban's death has been confirmed by Puig, the fashion designer's brand management company.

“He marked a generation with his radical vision of fashion, and his legacy will live on. Who else could inspire fashionable Parisians demand dresses made of plastic and metal", – said Puig fashion president José Manuel Albesa.

It is known that Raban was born in a military family and a seamstress in Spain. His mother's work forced them to move to France, where he became an architecture student at École Nationale des Beaux-Arts.

After that, he began a career in fashion, working with fashion brands – Givenchy, Dior and Balenciaga. In 1966, he founded his own Paco Rabanne fashion house and has since become world famous.

In addition to the futuristic clothes of the time, he also created perfumes. His debut the fragrance, Calandre, is still available today, and Lady Million, known for its colorful gold bottles, continues to be in demand to this day.

But he was also known for his provocative antics.  In many interviews, he stated that lived several lives, he is about 78 thousand years old, that he saw God and had contact with aliens.
