Former Apple engineers and ChatGPT developers want to release a revolutionary smartphone

The world-famous former Apple designer Jony Ive is collaborating with the OpenAI team to develop a new, revolutionary smartphone.

What is known about the probable appearance of a new revolutionary smartphone from the developers of iPhone and ChatGPT

According to the publication, it is Jony Ive who leads the project, which also involves 9 other developers, including Tan Tan and Evans Hankey, who participated in the development of the original iPhone.

The developers located their headquarters in San Francisco and have already invested about 1 billion dollars in the project.

Even last year it was reported that the project was inspired by touch screen technology and the original iPhone.

Developers also expect generative AI to create a new type of computing device with more powerful capabilities compared to traditional software.

It is expected that the new smartphone will mostly use the potential of artificial intelligence.

In particular, artificial intelligence will be embedded in the basis of the operating system itself, which will save the user from the need for manual control.

Jony Ive, who worked at Apple for decades together with Steve Jobs, is credited with the design of many of the company's modern iconic gadgets: from the iPod and iPhone to the iPad and MacBook.

What is known about the first user feedback on the performance of the iPhone 16

According to the information of GizChina analysts, the charging power of the iPhone 16 disappointed users, as it turned out that even 45 W of power is not supported by the new Apple gadgets. According to the results of a series of tests, the editors of the portal came to the conclusion that smartphones really can take 40 watts, but this is only for a short moment at the beginning of the charging process. Otherwise, the limit is around 27W for most of the charging cycle, which is similar to the iPhone 15.

For example, the iPhone 16 Pro Max charges from 2% to 100% in 1 hour and 45 minutes versus 1 hour and 55 minutes in the previous generation.

This 10-minute difference is insignificant, especially considering the fact that the iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with 5% more battery.

Modern Android smartphones are charged from much more powerful adapters. Even budget Xiaomis support fast charging with a power of 60 W. More expensive models are equipped with 120 W or even 240 W adapters, and Realme is already preparing the first smartphone with a 320 W charger.
