The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a statement regarding the decision of individual member states of the European Union to prohibit the entry of cars with Russian registration.

"Now it is already quite obvious that the desperate desire of the current top of the European Union to erect a new “iron curtain” in Europe, which has maximally limited the possibilities of communication between people, – writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The actions of the European Commission are considered there as “an open provocation of EU member states to increase discrimination against Russians on the basis of nationality”. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged citizens to weigh the risks when traveling to the European Union. Brussels, hiding behind the infamous EU “solidarity”, which so openly tramples on human rights, will not succeed here, – added there.
