The first rumors about the next iPhone are starting to circulate on the web. According to Bloomberg, Apple is considering the return of Touch ID in its next phone which will likely be the iPhone 12s.
Since the launch of the iPhone X, Apple has abandoned its Touch ID fingerprint reader to unlock its iPhone in favor of Face ID.
A decision that was not unanimous among apple lovers who liked this reader.
If this reader is present on models like the iPhone 8 or the latest iPhone SE, the fact remains that Apple’s flagship ones have not had any since 2017.
This would be called to change if we believe Bloomberg information.
Apple would have actually decided to bring this means of identification in its next iPhone, which will probably be the iPhone 12s.
However, unlike the Touch ID that we know with the home button, the fingerprint reader would be on the phone screen.
A technology that is already used by some rivals of Apple such as Samsung, Huawei and OnePlus in particular.
Apple wouldn’t have any plans to remove Face ID though, but at least we would have one more option to unlock our phone.
No more port to charge the iPhone?
With the launch of the latest iPhone, the iPhone 12, Apple made a decision that surprised many by not including the charging pad in the box to charge the phone.
This decision coupled with the arrival of MagSafe wireless charging has made many wonder if Apple will not literally abandon wired charging soon.

This eventuality will, it seems, happen one day or another. It remains to be seen when exactly.
Still according to Bloomberg, Apple would be thinking about this and a final decision has not yet been taken.
If it’s not on the iPhone 12s, we can certainly expect from the iPhone 13 to see iPhones that only charge by magnetic pulse.
Foldable iPhone: not for tomorrow
Finally, Apple enthusiasts wonder: when will we be able to see a first iPhone with a foldable screen?
Samsung already has 3 such models. Huawei, Motorola, and Microsoft also have foldable phone models.
When will Apple’s be?
The answer is, it’s not tomorrow that a foldable iPhone will hit the market.
Apple would still be in the prototype phase for the screen only.
It will therefore be necessary to be patient!
