On August 30, the American rapper A$AP Rocky released a music video for the song Tailor Swif, which he filmed in Ukraine. A day before, he published a teaser with the inscription Filmed in Ukraine on the splash screen.
With this song, the rapper debuted at the Rolling Loud festival in Portugal in July 2022. Watch the incredible clip on YouTube.
The rapper said that the single Tailor Swif is only named in honor of the singer Taylor Swift, but has nothing to do with her. The video was directed by video makers Vanya Heymann and Gal Muggia, who previously worked with Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Selena Gomez. The video was produced by Shelter.film, and the cameraman was Denis Luschyk, who previously worked on Jamala's video “The Way Home”.
The clip was shot in one of the courtyards of Kyiv. It features carpets on the walls, horses, a bear, pandas, rockets flying out of the house and an explosion at the end. Also in the video there are inscriptions on signs in Ukrainian and Ukrainian license plates.
A$AP Rocky is an American rapper, music producer from Harlem, New York. He is also a member of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob. His 2012 single Fuckin' Problems (featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar) immediately entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 8 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song.
