That Congress better pay attention to what will leak from the Public Ministry anyway

In his video column “Tell me another” this Tuesday, the journalist and political analyst Fernando Vivas refers to the refusal of the president Pedro Castillo to receive the Oversight Commission of Congress investigating him for alleged irregularities in his management, despite the fact that he had announced that he would testify.

“Pedro Castillo did not testify (before the Oversight Commission) because he knows that making a political rudeness to Congress has no political cost”, says Vivas, in his video column which is published on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Indicates that Congress should have been “better warned and prepared” for what was to come and the Chairman of the Oversight Commission, Héctor Ventura, should have been much more careful with his statements “so as not to give ammunition to the adversary.”

He considers that these are powers with very low approval and, therefore, fighting and rudeness only results in minimal popular support for these institutions.

“For Congress, the best thing is to wait for the investigation of the Mini Public tery”, he adds.
