According to the Chinese regulator, we are talking about a device that will be released in two different versions and will support operation in fifth-generation networks. In addition, the new Sony Xperia 5 II comes with dual SIM slots and comes pre-loaded with Android OS. The gadget will receive a 6.5-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a fairly compact size – only 166×72 millimeters with a thickness of 7.9 mm. A built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3860 mAh is responsible for the autonomous operation of the device.

In addition, according to other leaks, the Sony Xperia 5 II will be powered by the SoC Snapdragon 865 and will receive, depending on the version, 8 or 12 gigabytes of RAM. But the amount of permanent memory will be the same in both versions and will be 128 GB. The main camera in this model is triple and has a configuration of 12 + 12 + 12 megapixels, in addition to this, the device will receive a 3x optical zoom. In addition, judging by the data published on the web, the device will also retain a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The official presentation of the Sony Xperia 5 II is expected on September 17th. In addition, some sources note that for the US market, the starting price tag for the new product will be set at $ 999.
