Fans of high-class mass-produced goods got their money’s worth on Friday evening at the Tele 5 station. The station showed two episodes of the highly acclaimed “Fargo” series from 8:15 p.m. – and thus secured over 300,000 viewers each.
The first episode reached 0.32 million viewers, the second 0.33 million viewers. Such stable numbers speak for the series. Overall, the broadcast secured 1.0 and 1.1 percent market share, and things went well for 14 to 49 year olds for the station, which is now part of Discovery. A market share of 1.0 and 1.1 percent was also determined here.
A subsequent broadcast of the series “
The Night Manager”, which included Hugh Laurie (“Dr. House”), offered less reason to be happy. From 10.45 p.m., visual participation fell to a meager 0.13 million, and market shares also fell significantly. Overall, the series landed at 0.7 percent, but with young people you had to be satisfied with a very poor 0.2 percent. Meanwhile, ZDFneo was on the move on Friday evening: At prime time, the channel offered two episodes of “Death in Paradise”, which had a total of 2.7 and three percent market share – the reach averaged 0.90 and 0.96 million. With the 14 to 49 year olds, too, things went like clockwork given the 2.2 and 2.0 percent market share.

Vox landed at prime time under its own station average. The re were reruns of “Chicago Fire” to see, but it did not exceed 4.6 and 3.8 percent market share among the courted. 0.83 and 0.73 million people watched the American series about firefighters.
The broadcaster was also slightly worried about the “saloon-capable” program, which was included in the program at 4 pm.
Production has been back in the afternoon program since Monday and this week reached a maximum of 5.8 percent for advertising-related items, on Wednesday it did not exceed three percent. In this respect, the end of the week was halfway conciliatory at 5.4 percent. But if you consider that the “Shopping Queen” reached 8.4 percent the hour before on Friday, it becomes clear what potential the format should actually have.
