~ < p > About it writes bbc.

< p > 37-year-old resident of London filed a lawsuit against META in 2022. She demanded that the company did not use her personal data for advertising she was shown in the tape.

< p > The woman said she realized the problem in 2017, when she became pregnant. She did not even tell her friends, but Facebook had already started showing her advertising, prob & Rsquo; She believes that users do not have to agree to such & laquo; na & Rsquo; ugly and predatory & raquo; Advertising algorithms.

< P > After the lawsuit, Meta agreed not to use personal data O & Rsquo; Carroll for targeting advertising. British called this solution a great victory, because now, she said, other users will be able to demand the same.

< p > & laquo; if other people want to exercise their right, I think they now have a loophole for this, knowing that the UK regulator will support them & raquo ;, & mdash; noted a woman.

< P > Meta also stated that the plaintiff's claims were not agreed. They explained that its advertising algorithms work with groups of at least 100 people and do not target advertising for individual users. However, the British regulator disagreed with this argument.
