~ < P > The first new system will receive users in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and later it will be implemented in other regions.

< P > Meta emphasizes that their goal is to simplify their lives for parents and give them more confidence that their children are safe. The initiative is based on successful Instagram experience where teen accounts have become mandatory for all users under 16 years of age.

< p > Facebook teen accounts make the default profile closed, limit the search opportunities, remove unwanted recommendations and turn off the message at night. Strict content control is also switched on: teenagers will see less materials related to appearance, diets, adult topics and violence. Any settings that weaken these limitations can only be changed with the permission of the parents.

< p > Messenger teenagers will not be able to receive messages from strangers: they will be able to write only those with whom there is already mutual subscription or confirmed acquaintance. Meta also promises a reminder of long -term use and time control in the application.

< P > According to the results of a survey conducted by an IPSOS research company, 94% of parents consider teenage accounts useful, and 85% are convinced that they help children better navigate the application. More than 90% of those surveyed supported each of the built -in security functions.
