Huawei representatives told when the transfer of smartphones to an alternative Android mobile version of the HarmonyOS OS will take place. Device owners will be able to fully appreciate the update only next year.

According to insiders from China, devices based on the Kirin 9000 5G single-chip system will be the first to receive the new OS. Apparently, they will be the flagships of the Huawei Mate 40 line. After that, the novelty will receive the Kirin 990 5G (Huawei P40 Pro), and then other SoCs. In chronological order, such devices will have a new OS: Kirin 9000 5G, Kirin 990 5G, Kirin 990 4G (partially), Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 (partially), Kirin 820 (partially), Kirin 980, Kirin 990 4G (partially), Kirin 810 and 710 (partially).
It is worth recalling that the creators will have access to the test version of HarmonyOS in December, and users will be allowed to test early next year. After a while, a full-fledged update of existing gadgets will begin.
