Evil Dead: Sam Raimi's new series with Ash gives its news

After Ash vs. Evil Dead, Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell will team up again for a new Evil Dead series, this time in animation.
In a few weeks, horror movie fans will be able to savor a new work from the Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead Rise. Directed by Lee Cronin, the film will distance itself from the original work by introducing new characters. If Bruce Campbell decided to leave his role of Ash after the cancellation of Ash vs Evil Dead, the most awesome of the gore series, its collaboration with Sam Raimi is far from over.
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell , both producers of this new movie Evil Dead, still have stories to tell. In addition to reprising his role as Ash in the so good con Evil Dead: The Game, Bruce Campbell is about to dive back into this universeso dear to his heart with a new Evil Dead series that we finally heard from.
If for the moment this animation series was only a project, it has a good chance of materializing. In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, Bruce Campbell claimed that Sam Raimi was developing the series:
“All I can say is that we are actively working on it. Sam is a busy guy. He had a big blockbuster movie, so he has a lot to do, but he and his brother are actively shaping this universe. C It's one thing to say to an animator, “Hey, animate this!” You have to know what you're going to animate before. I can't wait, because my voice hasn't aged as much as me.”
For now, nothing is known about the synopsis of this animated series, which could either be a sequel to Ash vs Evil Dead or develop a whole new story. All we really know is that Bruce Campbell is hot, so obviously we are too. No release date has been announced at this time, but it is hoped that the Raimi brothers will complete this project. In the meantime, Evil Dead Rise is coming to cinemas on April 19, 2023.
