Everyone makes this mistake: how you shouldn't carry a laptop with it turned on

Everyone carries their laptop from room to room, to work, etc. They move it from the table to the bed to turn on their favorite TV series or movie. But it turns out that most of us make a big mistake. The thing is that you can't carry a laptop with it turned on. We'll tell you why.

Inside each laptop is a sensitive hard drive mechanism that contains a special reading head. If the computer is moved or shaken suddenly, this head can damage delicate internal components.

The consequences of such carelessness can be different:

  • gradual degradation of system performance;
  • unpredictable program crashes;
  • complete loss of device functionality.

Older laptop models are especially vulnerable. Modern devices have more advanced hard drive protection systems, but the risk remains significant.

The simplest security rule – always Turn off your laptop before moving it. This simple action will help preserve the integrity of important data and extend the life of your computer.
