At the international exhibition Euronaval 2024 manufacturers from France and Italy – MBDA and Thales — presented the newest anti-aircraft missile Aster 30 B1NT. The development could become a European alternative to the American Patriot PAC-3 system. Army Recognition writes about this.
The missile was successfully tested at the training ground in Biscarross, France, where it proved its effectiveness against complex air targets. The system is capable of destroying targets at a distance of over 150 km and an altitude of up to 25 km, including hypersonic and ballistic missiles.
