So, in addition to Yanukovych and Pshonka, sanctions were also lifted for their sons – Oleksandr Yanukovych and Artem Pshonka.

The magazine notes that the period for applying restrictive measures against these four persons expired on September 6, 2022. On the basis of this fact and information about their rights to defense and the rights to effective judicial protection, the sanctions against them should be lifted.

“Based on the Council's verification of the record of four persons for whom the period of application of restrictive measures had expired September 6, 2022, and information about their rights to a defense and the right to effective judicial protection, should be deleted from Annex I. to Regulation (EU) No 208″ /2014”, the journal entry says.
