Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on world leaders to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin to “open the doors of the world,” A Haber reports.
“Unfortunately, the UN could not end the war and stop the bloodshed, as well as find a solution to the energy and food crises that arose as a result of the war”, – said Erdogan.
The President of Turkey said that the creation of a “grain corridor” restored some credibility to the organization, but there is no doubt that great efforts must be made to end the war
“Leaders should promote this channel. In other words, everyone who has a more or less relationship with Mr. Putin should discuss these issues with him in order to open this door”, – Erdogan added.
He emphasized that this call concerns and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Because, in his opinion, the manifestation of completely different negative approaches will not give the expected result.
“On the contrary, I think that the number of deaths and destruction here will increase even more” ;, – said the President of Turkey.
