The band Okean Elsa and the leader of the American band Goo Goo Dolls John Rzesnik presented the joint track “Lighthouse”. The composition is included in the album of the same name by Ukrainian artists, the release of which is scheduled for October 11, 2024.

“Ocean Elsa” collaboration with Goo Goo Dolls promises to be one of the brightest musical events of the year. You can listen to the track on all music platforms.

Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, the frontman of “Ocean Elsa” spoke about the meaning of the new song. In addition, he expressed his gratitude to Rzheznik for his cooperation.

The lighthouse is a very powerful metaphor for me. As a Ukrainian, I couldn't think of a better metaphor to express our hope for the future, that's why the song and the album have such a name, – admitted the leader of the band “Ocean Elzy”.

At the same time, John thanked Svyatoslav for the opportunity to be a part of the Lighthouse song. The frontman of Goo Goo Dollsemphasized the importance of the creativity of the Ukrainian band within the borders of his native country and abroad. It also became known that part of the funds received from the song will be given to the fundraising platform United24.

I am glad that the money will be donated to such an important cause. The band has a wealth of experience in sharing messages of hope and unity through their music, so we wish them continued success as they inspire people from Ukraine and beyond, Rzheznik noted.
