Cyber police together with investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office exposed postal service workers who stole drones. The extras appropriated the drones that came in the parcels.

Details

The investigation found out that the head of the branch of the well-known postal service involved his subordinates in the criminal scheme. Subsequently, the parties sold the UAVs on the Internet at below-market prices. “Goods” were sent to customers from the branch at the place of work. One of the defendants even issued a FOP to receive payments for the sale of property.

In this way, the defendants appropriated the contents of 26 shipments for our soldiers with a total value of almost UAH 6 million.

The defendants were informed of the suspicion of Part 5 of Art. 191. They face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The Security Service and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine have gathered evidence on the organizers of yet another scheme to embezzle funds from the defense budget of Ukraine. We are talking about  embezzlement on the state order of the Ministry of Defense regarding dynamic protection for tanks of the Armed Forces in March 2022.
